Today marks a special period during Ohio elections that allows people to register to vote and cast a ballot at the same time. This phenomenon is known as “golden week” by many, and very deliberately gives each and every Ohioan an opportunity to make their voice heard through the election process.
Have you not registered to vote at your new address? Have you gotten married or changed your name? This is a critical week for all people who have had changes since the last election.
Registering to vote is crucial to raising your voice this election. If you’re not registered to vote, how will you manage to stand up for working class people and vote NO on Issue 2?
Click here now to get all the information you need about registering to vote, the early voting process and what you’ll need to have with you to make sure your vote counts.
After each election, we hear horror stories from people who were turned away from voting for number of reasons. Their vote was never cast. Don’t let this important opportunity and this equally essential election pass you by. Click here to register to vote or to request an absentee ballot to vote by mail.
As a community fighting for a more fair and just economy, we’ve got a long way to go to truly win this fight. But, by registering to vote today or by requesting your absentee ballot by mail, we’re one step closer in saving the middle class of America.
In solidarity,
Gabe Kramer
